How about when new puppies are born? You can choose to become one if you wish. :3 Not sure really.. XP But you would need someone to take care of you, so what if when a new litter is born a pop up will say:

"The pups are here! You will need to be taken care of if you wish to survive in this world'

Really, I have no idea. XP Sorry, this is probably useless. But I tried. :3

Razz There could be another database, which is spliced by the wolves raised when playing "puppy mode", a lite version of the simulation mode, in which you have to keep your pup alive for a year. How about that?

I was thinking it could be an option on the main menu. In multiplayer, you can either become a lone pup to be adopted, or add your name to a list where already-online players can adopt pups as their own biological offspring. In singleplayer, you can choose your parents/pack and spawn in it with other NPC pups. I do like the option of playing as your pups, though. That provides infinite gameplay, where you can still play, even after your original wolf dies. Or, it could be like LION, where you can switch to another wolf in your pack at any time.

Nice ideas! ;D I was thinking about that for the multiplayer idea that you mentioned, but I was thinking it might be too difficult to achieve. But I'm not the legendary game maker here. XD

Smile Are you suggesting we can choose our parents? xD I want to change mine, where's the button? (no cynism intended!)
On Multiplayer, I thought maybe players who start as pups will be put into random packs or into no pack at all to be invited by packs and become one of their own afterwards, so partwise into the direction you suggested.
About being able to switch to other packmembers; planned~ <3 That was too awesome in LION to be left out Very Happy

xD Too difficult? Getting the whole thing up and running in a stable manner, THAT is difficult. The actual game logics aren't that hard. Right now, the game has the habit to render sometimes and other times it won't. Still haven't pin-pointed the cause for that. Shadows are in developement too. xD Thinking aloud again. My bad.

Razz Legendary? I haven't seen Sam P. around here yet
