(Drive F If you want to follow the tutorial exactly)

**WATCH THE DEMO IN THE MAIN MENU IF YOU ARE NEW TO WOLF OR LION IT REALY HELPS!**
DEMO VIDEO:

* Always recommended to do Endless in simulations in my opinion!
* PRESS F1 IN THE GAME TO SEE ALL THE CONTROLS!

3.) Breeding and Pups!
* If you want to mate fast, then you should pick winter as the season in all regions.
* Your mate will come to you when the 9th month begins on your wolves profile of there age every year. If you're not alpha, outside the territory or hungry/thirst or in danger it won't though.
* On the 9th month on your wolves profile is when you can mate with your significant alpha male or female. Dont click mate on the other wolf's profile becuase it will just prolong the process and you will just get denied. You have to let the other wolf come to you and it will happen automatically.
* The 7th Month of the year on your wolves profile is when the pups will fully grow.
* At 11-12 Months on your wolves profile is when the female alpha will have a litter of pups.
* If you're the female alpha at 11 months and your wolf is on autoplay, she'll stay at the den. Same if you're the male alpha. (Final month until the pups are born)
* When have pups it always goes male, female, male, etc.
* You can have up to 1-5 pups in a litter. (Not yet proven maybe more)
* Pup coat colors might be passed down from parrents but not yet proven.

4.) Months and Seasons
Telling what Month it is and season:
Well you can judge by the environment of what season it is, for example: if the trees are leafless then its winter, if they have tine tiny leaves on them its spring, if they have big green leaves its summer, and of course if they have red and orange leaves its fall. You can also tell by the shade of the ground, and at the beginning of each season a message will pop up saying which season it is. If you want to know the months or weeks, Taru has found research on this:
Quote :
You must stay awake at night to see these moons. The full moon, first quarter moon, and third quarter moon can be seen at the very beginning of the night. Waning crescent can be seen in the middle of the night, when the moon is high in the sky.

Week Cycle during night time transition:

Seasons of months:
Spring - March Equinox to June Solstice;
Summer - June Solstice to September Equinox;
Fall (autumn) - September Equinox to December Solstice; and,
Winter - December Solstice to March Equinox.

5.) Hunting
You hunt by pressing 'n' and the scent's will come up with pictures of animals, hunters etc. Find some prey, and well, hunt! Only if its a hare or beaver though, (If your on your own in the hunt) otherwise you need other pack members to help you hunt. This means prey like: deer, elk, caribou etc.
* If you hunt too much, along with other prey items. From what I know, prey doesn't respawn, or if it does, it doesn't very often. (Still testing)
* Carcass rots and disapears in about a week. (Rough Guess)
* You can pick up and store food by burying it
* Stored food disapears in about 2 days (Rough Guess)
* Remember to keep an eye on your Hunger and Thirst levels because you can just die unexpectedly!

6.) Fighting
Just click on the wolf you wish to fight with, (It has to be the same gender as you) and there will be something saying: 'Do you want to challenge?' click 'yes' and there will be a fight scene. At the bottom left hand corner there will be a picture of a wolf. (Thats your wolf.) Near the end of its tail will be 3 boxes:
Red - Fight the wolf
Blue - Submissive actions. (Playing with the wolf. This can help for you to be friends, if they accept. But thats usually when your the Alpha or higher rank than them.)
Yellow - Run away from them, this means thee other wolf has won the fight. (Unless you just run away right at the beginning from the fight.)

7.) Wolf Pack
* The selection screen doesn't always show the color of the wolves pelt's in game. There are only 4 colors of pelts in WOLF: Red, Brown, Grey and Black. And it is not possible to change colours on WOLF.
* Playing with other wolves could increase rank to beta if there is not one. (Needs more testing)
* You can not be a Lone Wolf. (Without changing the code of the game)
* Your wolf will reach it's strenght peak at about 3-4 years. After that the strength lowers each year.
Hunting might help, but don't overhunt...
* When choosing your wolves for your pack you can not change the first 2 wolves in the pack and must click back and forward to randomly change them to the wolves you want.
* To choose the wolf you want to play as pick the wolf that interests you and click the first portrait.
* To add wolves simply choose the wolf you want and click the middle portrait button witch adds wolves to your pack.
* To remove wolves simply right click the wolf you dont want and click the third / last portrait.
* Centarus is a special wolf you can only unlock if you have a full pack of 5.
* Lone wolves: If you somehow go under 3 pack members by one of your pack getting killed or starved, one of the Lone Wolves will automatically fill that slot.
* If you only see female wolves in the Wolf Selection menu you have to add a female wolf in the pack then you will see males. (Its because you cant have to many males/females in the pack)
* Howling will show where all the wolves in your pack are. (Also call your pack towards you I think if you are the Alpha)
